• There has been a demand for a solution for quality control in the sign and large format print market without having to invest in a full photo spectrometer such as X-Rite eXact.
  
  X-Rite have listened and come up with this smart little handheld X-Rite RM200QC.
  It works by you measuring a physical sample of the color you are going to frame and then after your production you can measure what you have printed and see if your Delta E deviation of within tolerance.
  You specify your internal Delta E deviation requirements.
  
  For example, let's say you have a job where you need to frame a specific Pantone color.
  Then you optimize its ICC profil with your i1Publish Pro 2 and make a print.
  The customer has asked for a quality report and you print a color block with of the specific Pantone color.
  Then your Pantone Color Bridge takes and measures the color. Then you measure your color block and check it is within your agreed tolerance.
  You can then send the report to your customer, as quality assurance for both you and your customer.
  
  Once you have taken your measurements, you can connect the instrument to a computer and get a complete PDF report of your readings to send along to your customer.
  
  The measuring device in X-Rite RM200QC is a colorimeter and uses D65 as light standard.
