When printing posters today, you usually look at the type of poster you want to print.
Typically, you can divide it into the following categories.
POS posters
POS (Point-of-sale) is another term and posters used in connection with sales. This can include signs in shops, print for A-signs, posters for events and much more. The characteristic of all of them is that they are often used for short periods of time. For this type of poster printing it is recommended to use 4 and 5-colour printers.
Graphic posters
For printing graphic posters can be used for from the cheap 4-colour printers to the first 12-colour. It all depends on the print quality you want the posters to have. The more colours, the better the print quality.
Art posters
Art posters are what is known in the trade as "Fine Art". Here are usually printed original works, limited edition or art reproductions. Only the best printers can be used here. Typically 10-12 colour printers are used.
Photo posters
For printing photo posters we recommend at least. Use an 8-colour printer to get good quality.
