• tesa® 64604 PV3 is a yellow, transparent, double-sided tape with a thickness of 200µm, consisting of a PVC backing material and a rubber adhesive.
  tesa® 64604 PV3 is specially designed for mounting photopolymer plates in the flexographic printing industry. Thanks to its properties, tesa® 64604 PV3 is an especially ideal solution for mounting tape on the plate before mounting the entire composite on the cylinder or Mylar film. This is common practice in post-print of corrugated board.
  Adhesion
  • High adhesive value and shear strength provide reliable mounting, even when the material is stored for longer periods.
  • Good adhesion and shear strength also ensure that there is no edge lifting, even during long printing processes and at high speeds.
  • Due to the specially optimized adhesive properties, the tape and plate can be easily repositioned during mounting.
  Backing material
  • The transparent backing material allows markings to remain clearly visible.
  Release liner
  • The creped release liner prevents air bubbles and wrinkling of the tape.
  • The release liner is silicone-coated, which allows for easy application and removal.
