Description of Standard photo and poster frame - 50 x 70 cm

• Standard photo and poster frame measuring 50 x 70 cm. The frames are available in several different colors and wood types as well as with 4 different types of glass. Our solid oak frames are 100% genuine oak and are not veneer like the other types. All our frames are made to order, so it's important you choose exactly the color and glass you want. The frames are made with genuine oak veneer. This is done to keep the frame light but still look and feel like real wood when it hangs on the wall. The frames in white and black are, of course, just painted to maintain the wood structure.
  
  All of this has been crafted for a perfect blend of quality and price.

  Plexiglass - Acrylic Glass
  - The acrylic glass is 1.5 mm thick.
  - Unlike other types of glass, this acrylic glass is completely color-neutral, which prevents the possibility of detecting a green tint.
  
  Glass
  Our genuine glass is not something you find in many frame types today, but you can have our frame made with it. The glass is of high quality, with a thickness of 2 mm and the same price as acrylic glass. The biggest advantage that normal glass has over acrylic glass is that it is inflexible, therefore standing more firmly in the frame.
  
  Museum Glass
  Our museum glass is the most commonly used type, known as UV 70%. Museum glass is often just called invisible glass. It is the peak of glass quality and often a requirement from museums to display works. Once you've seen museum glass live, you almost never choose anything else when you don’t want to compromise. We have experienced several times that customers and visitors leave fingerprints on our demo frames because they simply can't see the glass.
  
  Non-reflective Glass
  Our non-reflective glass is genuine glass, coated with a special film that minimizes the reflection of light and surroundings in the room where your frame hangs. The non-reflective effect, however, makes the colors of your motif appear slightly muted, so when you print your pictures, it's essential to consider this and give your pictures extra contrast to compensate for this effect.   When it comes to cleaning, we recommend using a microfiber cloth as it protects both the frame and the glass and is easy to work with.

  • The edge strip as seen from the front is 12 mm wide and 18 mm deep.

• Passepartout

  
  If you want to make it more exclusive, we recommend adding a passepartout that matches the frame you have ordered.
  They come in different colors and with various hole sizes, but when you order, you must purchase them in the same size as the frame.
  We have made it easy to choose them in our menu with recommended accessories, so you don't have to worry about whether it fits, as you can only select those that match exactly this frame size.
  
  Passepartout colors:
  There are many colors to choose from, but they are all made with 1.5 mm high-quality cardboard.
  However, the texture is different. Dark blue, purple, and yellow have a rougher texture. The green is more ribbed, in a really fine way. White with a black core is lighter than regular white, which has a slightly creamy hue.
  
  

  Mounting

  
  Our frames have easy and practical hanging mounts, so the frame can hang both horizontally and vertically.
  From A4 down, there is a small flip-out "leg/foot" on the frame, allowing them to be placed on, for example, a shelf.
  
  

  Experience the glass with our angle test

  
  
  To illustrate the difference between our regular, non-reflective, and museum glass, we have chosen to conduct an angle test.
  
  It is important that you notice our employee in the reflection, who is waving. You will see that he becomes more invisible as he moves from regular to non-reflective glass and is 100% invisible with our new museum glass.
  This effect will make your pictures and portraits more unique, and they will not be negatively affected by light from your windows or otherwise.
