  Colortrac The SmartLF SCi-Series scannere are perfect for everyday scanning tasks. An A0/E size document can be scanned in full colour at 12 inches per second, just 1 inch per second slower than the black and white scanning speed. Connection to the host computer is straightforward, using a standard USB 3.0 cable supplied with the scanner.

  Large document collection area
  SmartLF SCi-scannere features a large, user-friendly mid-station platform that accepts documents for face-up scanning. Specially designed to automatically detect the size of documents placed in the middle of the scanner, documents can be loaded and prepared for scanning in seconds. Documents that conform to standard drawing pad sizes (manual mode) can be positioned in the center or to the side depending on the choice of software. Magnetic paper guides are also provided to make positioning easier. The SCi 36-scannere has a maximum media width of 38" (965 mm) and is capable of scanning documents and maps up to a thickness of 0.08" (2 mm).
  
  Dynamic document feed
  Unlike scannere, which uses offset sensors, the SmartLF SCi benefits from a simplified pressure roller arrangement to ensure that the document always remains in contact with the optics. The rollers on either side of the scan line and the active soft platen roller running the length of the SingleSensor are all motorised, allowing the scanner to react dynamically and actively work against optical disturbances caused by folds and uneven documents. This unique technology ensures that delicate or fragile media such as newspapers and old drawings can be scanned safely and accurately without any problems.
  
  SuperSpeed PC Interface
  The SmartLF SCi 36 uses a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 digital interface that allows the scanner to work at full speed on full-width documents or to scan smaller, higher-resolution documents faster. Improved productivity is easy to achieve with the time-saving innovations built into every Colortrac I-Series scanner.
