However, the first 12 months go by quickly, and after that, you no longer have a warranty on your printer. If any parts of the printer become problematic, it will be at your own expense.

Canon's Easy Service Plan provides peace of mind regarding your printer.
The most important point in the agreement is that you receive next day onsite service, meaning an authorized Canon technician will visit you the following business day.
In summary, Canon's Easy Service Plan covers hours, travel, and parts.
However, the Easy Service Plan does not cover consumables, i.e., ink, maintenance cartridges, blades, and printheads.
