• Scotch Packaging Tape 371 is used for closing a wide range of corrugated cardboard boxes and other cardboard materials. The polypropylene backing material resists moisture, wear and tear, chemicals, and scuff marks, making it durable throughout the shipping process. It easily conforms around edges and rough surfaces to create a lasting bond. This tape is suitable for use on regular slotted cartons (RSC) weighing up to 70 kg. Scotch® 371 packaging tape has a backing material of biaxially-oriented polypropylene with pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive, providing good edge tear and crack resistance. It meets the environmental requirements of ASTM D1974-92. The rubber adhesive quickly adheres to various materials, including fiberboards. The tape withstands wear, moisture, and scuff marks. The PP backing material conforms around edges and rough areas for a tight closure. It resists edge tearing and does not split.
